Well, everyone out there, we're online. We finally were able to take the plunge and get Comcast cable internet. Ahhh...we haven't had it since we got married and consequently haven't been able to update on here much. So, finally, we can talk about what's going on.
We got back from Hawaii on Sept. 21. We were there for a week on the Big Island in Kailua-Kona. Man, was it AWEsome. I don't think I would want to live there, to be honest with you...it's just too hot for me. And humid. But it's gorgeous.
We went snorkeling several times, which was great--I truly couldn't believe all the fish. It was like putting your face in the water and bam, it's Finding Nemo. What a trip. We saw fish just like Dory (tang), and Marlin and Nemo (clownfish), and there was even (gasp!) a drop-off out at Captain Cook. We also got to kayak with dolphins.
On the downside, Amy and I got sunburned and spent two days in our condo not touching (which is a real bummer when you're newlyweds, and probably even when you aren't, I suspect). The good part was that we got to watch the History channel and saw this awesome show called Dogfights, which despite the name was about air warfare (as you may be aware).
We loved it and we can't wait to go back. Next time we'll use more sunscreen.

Yes, you're right the whole sunburn thing on your honeymoon would be a bummer! Glad you guys had a good time. Chris and I were just saying the other day, it's been a long time since we've heard from you guys. I mean,we know you're newlyweds and everything but, come on! ;)
Well I have an idea about saving money on your internet. You should ask your neighbors if they want to share with you, get a wifi router and split the bill.
We had our honeymoon in Victora BC in the winter so that we would not have any issues with sunburns. Did you know that Burns was our last name? Get it? Burns. HaHa
